This Basic First Aid course offers learners the opportunity to learn first aid skills and to further develop existing skills in order that they can provide basic first aid treatment until more advanced help arrives at the scene.
Includes morning tea, light lunch and afternoon tea.

Successful learners will be NZQA unit standard 6401 (Basic First Aid) & 6402 (Basic Life Support) accredited.

Manage Emergency Situation course offers learners the opportunity to extend their first aid skills to manage multi victim incidents and accidents until more advanced help arrives at the scene.

NZQA Unit Standards 6401 & 6402
This course provides essential first aid knowledge and practical skills for responding to common medical and injury-related emergencies.
Participants will learn how to:
Assess an emergency situation and respond safely
Provide basic life support (CPR) for adults, children, and infants
Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Manage choking (foreign body airway obstruction)
Control life-threatening bleeding
Provide first aid for shock, trauma, and common medical conditions such as asthma, heart attack, stroke, seizure, and diabetes
This course is suitable for:
Workplace first aiders
Staff needing basic first aid certification
Anyone wanting essential life-saving skills
Manage Emergency Situations
NZQA Unit Standards 6400, 6401 & 6402
This course builds on basic first aid skills and focuses on managing more complex emergency situations, particularly where there are multiple hazards, serious injuries, or more than one injured person.
In addition to basic first aid and life support skills, participants will learn how to:
Assess and manage emergency scenes, including identifying and controlling hazards
Prioritize care when multiple people are injured or unwell
Manage major injuries such as head injuries, spinal injuries, crush injuries, amputations, and severe burns
Respond to serious medical emergencies, including severe allergic reactions and heat or cold emergencies
Monitor the overall situation while coordinating first aid until help arrives
This course is suitable for:
Designated workplace first aiders
Team leaders, supervisors, or health and safety representatives
People working in higher-risk environments

We offer on-site first aid training for workplaces with 10 or more staff across Queenstown and the Otago region.
Training is delivered at your workplace, saving time and reducing downtime, with course content tailored to your industry and workplace risks. We offer flexible scheduling to minimise disruption and make it easy for teams to train together.

Our training sessions take place at our Queenstown office, 159 Gorge Road, Unit 36, Queenstown, complimentary parking is available on-site for all attendees.
We provide food and drinks throughout the day to keep you energized.

If you or your company need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before the course start time.
Cancellations with 24+ hours notice will receive a credit to reschedule at a later date.
Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full course fee.
