Workplace Health & Safety Culture Training
Build the knowledge and understanding needed to contribute to a positive health and safety culture and support safe practices in the workplace.
This course is designed for workers, supervisors and others involved in workplace health and safety and provides practical understanding of health and safety culture and practices in line with NZQA Unit Standard 30266.
This unit standard has been developed to support programmes leading towards the New Zealand Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety Practice (Level 3)
About the Course
This training explores what a positive health and safety culture looks like in practice and how everyone in a workplace can contribute to creating and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
Attendees will learn about common workplace health and safety practices, reporting and documentation requirements, effective health and safety communication, and the behaviours and attitudes that contribute to a positive safety culture.
The course helps attendees understand how everyday actions, communication and participation can influence health and safety outcomes across an organisation.
